The ‘Love Care Share attitude in our health care was highly appreciated. A plot at Nagavara was purchased and St. Philomena Health Centre was constructed in response to the increased demand for health care service. It provided the facility of an OPD ael 12 beds for the in-patients.Thus, the Rural Health Centre from Veerannapalya was shifted to Nagavara on 13th November 1976 and renamed as St. Philomena Health Centre. It mainly catered for maternity patients. On 16th June 2006 an Operation Theatre was added. The residents in the vicinity gradually increased. Thus, there was a felt need for expansion to provide more facilities, specializations and latest technologies. Therefore a 100 bedded hospital was inaugurated on 21 st January 2014 and it began functioning from 8th July 2014.
